I am an Engineer of the Late 19th Century!

I don't want to be stuck in the past, I want to be a progressive thinker! The Late 19th Century were classified into three categories:

The Revivalists, people who were afraid of technology and embraced the past.
The Engineers supported the potential in the Industrial Revolution, they were the progressive thinkers.
The Grim Underside of thinking revealed the negative ramifications of the Industrial Revolution. They were against commercialism and thus emerged the Arts and Crafts movement.

Okay so I know its 2010, but these views and outlook on the world still hold true. We still have historical restoration, new advances in technology, and rebellious hippies. Whether its the Great Exhibition of 1851 or Neocon World's Trade Fair 2010, there will always be different opinions and new developments.
I want to be apart of these new developments, I want to be an Engineer!. . . . or Interior Design, lets not get carried away.
