Father of Abstraction

Thank you Wassily Kandinsky for looking at your art out of context. Because of you we are able to think outside of the box. We are able to see patterns of color and not just the object. Thank you for being the "Father of Abstraction".

Oh the Possibilities. . .

Okay, okay, okay so I know I said I wanted to use the Eiffel Tower as my concept for my furniture piece, but I just wasn't feeling it. The Eiffel Tower is an amazing structure, but I feel like it can only take me so far. So I have moved on, Eiffel and I have decided to see other people and I have just been reintroduced to Alice and Wonderland. I mean think about the possibilities, the colors, the shapes, forms, and the white rabbit! Now that's a concept to build upon. So all I have to do is get to work right?. . . hmm easier said then done.

Oh Eiffel Tower! You are my "Multi-Functional Container" inspiration, please do not fail me. You have brought joy to many tourists alike and one day I would like to go and see you. But for now I really need this project to work, because I really need an A. Soo. . . thankx in advance!! xoxo

Taking the Time to Breathe

So after a bit of stress, I have come to the conclusion that I really need to take the time to breathe. It is so important to just clear my head to allow the creative juices to flow.
And for some reason when I need to be inspired or creative, I feel the need to listen to kevin rudolf and Kid Cudi, so thanks guys I know you will always have my back!

Thoughts to Think About/ Pep Talk Time

Okay so I'm trying to psych myself out of having a project stress induced mental block! So in times of trouble Mother Mary would normally comfort me, but I decided to look to the people that started it all, Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Vienna Secessionists for words of wisdom!
They rejected the past and pushed through to Modernism, and it is time I do the same.

Words of Wisdom:

I want to be a secure perfectionist.

Doppelganger Time!

My 1970s doppelganger (Linda Ronstadt), I always knew I was born in the wrong decade!
Speaking of decades, I saw this "fashion police" sign hanging on a tree this morning (random), and it said that "tights where meant to be left in the 1980s". I'm no fashion critic but tights have been around FOREVER and are meant to carry on! They are classic, cute, and everyone can wear them, sooo why not?!
